| 1991 - 2000 on and off.. |
Working with the musician, composer and electronic studio technology pioneer Marios Orozco (2) (He later started the band called U.R.D. Denmark) Our most prominent concert probably was the warming up before a Nina Hagen concert in Grey Hall (Christiania, Copenhagen) 1993 - 94.
They prepared the music on Atari Cubase, recorded it onto a DAT, excluding the bass and guitar lines and then performed it with a guest rapper, a girl singer as well as us, also, singing, playing bass and guitar. They made one single (vinyl) Later, as the technology developed I observed and sometimes assisted Marios in building up his digital recording music studio. |

After one year of Internet promotion he managed to get Artyart.com into the top 10 - 20 search engine ranking with the keywords 'free image downloads'. Also built a site that was called 'qubenzis Internet marketing', dedicated to Internet promotion. Obsolete since he moved to Spain 2001. In conjunction with this site he developed an ezine, also dedicated to Internet marketing, where he had over 800 (volunteer) subscribers. |

| 2002 - 2004 | Started one boutique (retail) in Fuengirola called XL Dreams. When he took over it was a Smart Grow Shop, a Dutch concept, retailing legal accessories for home growers of marijuana as well as 'smart' herbal drugs. 'Smart' because they're natural and harmless for the body (no side effects like many Pharmacy and illegal chemical drugs might cause) but still regulates functions like sleep, low or high blood pressure etc.Soon he changed the shop into art and gifts, biased towards an up market customer base.
However, the infamous Fuengirola city planning killed the dream by starting a huge, one and a half year, building project right outside our entrance. First the main square underground parking project, right beside our street, and then the actual street itself (C/Emancipation). |
