To begin with, thanks for your interest in Qubenzis Psy Audio's production. Whether you signed up to download either songs, samples, loops or if you only subscribed to this newsletter it's truly appreciated.

[New Song] Recently I uploaded a new song called 'UFO Academy'. It's sort of progressive trance track, 8:47min, 146bpm. I guess some would call the style something like 'neo beat'. Though, honestly, I still find it hard to categorize the tracks I make. You be the judge. Like the other songs it can be played from the web page. If you decide to download the song you will find it zipped together with the cover art and a html file with the info about the song.

[Audacity with LAME] If you haven't tried it. Mp3 Conversion for Mac, Win and Linux/Unix. To make really good (the best?) MP3 conversion try Audacity (with Lame). Audacity is a free fully equipped Open Source audio editing program and with the Audacity VST plugin you can also use it with your VST's.

[LAME mp3 codec] LAME codec is commonly valued for creating the best sounding high end mp3 conversion, from 192kbps to 320kbps. If you use Windows you have to install it manually by dropping the lame_enc.dll into your C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder and then have the programs find it. Audacity, iTunes, WIN MediaPlayer and other programs can be set to use LAME for mp3 conversion. The latest versions of Wavelab (5 and 6) also uses Lame. I tried it with WL5 but I prefer Audacity since WL created really weird mp3 files with the right channel much louder than the left (perhaps my computers fault..)
