KickMaker is a free software synthesizer dedicated to making kick drums. It’s created by the Teragon Audio open source project. While writing this I haven’t tried it yet, but it looks like a promising VST that I relly could get use for.
- TWEAK! its four independent oscillators
- FILTER! those waveforms with ASDR envelopes
- ADJUST! the timbre with ASDR fine tuning knobs
- ENHANCE! the sounds with built-in compression
- SLATHER! on other effects for a fully realized sound
- SAVE! your settings as presets
- LOAD! some of the preloaded presets to see what KickMaker can do
KickMaker is available for Mac or PC as a VST or AUdioUnit plugin.
