[Free-loops.com] offer a vast range of music audio samples and loops. There I also found a nice, deep kick wav.

They also have a bunch of effect sounds. Some of the audio files are in WAV format and others in mp3 format. The sounds are Common Creative Licensed. Additionally Free-loops.com offers a users forum as well as remix competitions.
